Wheelchair Basketball Club

Hampshire Hornets Wheelchair Basketball Club  provides the opportunity for disabled children and teenagers aged between 7-19 years to excel at sport. 

The Club burns with a passion to motivate, challenge and inspire young people and to provide a positive outlet to channel their energies.

The Club runs weekly training session every Sunday in Eastleigh and has over 15 disabled children playing every week.  The team welcomes disabled players along with able-bodied friends and family, who are encouraged to join in and enjoy the thrills of this great sport.

 Some of our players have been already spotted by British Wheelchair Basketball as potential paralympians - with a couple heading for Rio  – with recent features in local and national press:
